Hey what's up fam. I recently got a Maschine MK3 and right away wanted to use it as a sampler and slice my samples to the pads within Ableton Live. So I learned how to do that and then decided I'd share the knowledge for producers out there who just want to get down to business. I hope this video helps. Super stoked to see my name in the credits for the French film Carbone. Funny thing about this industry (production music) I often times don't know where my tunes end up until I get my royalty statements. I had a LOT of fun producing this kit. First I compose a short song idea in my DAW and then I bounce the tracks down, edit them into samples and loops, and import them into the iMPC Pro 2 app on my iPad. This is where they really start to take form.

The crazy thing is one of the coolest placements I have is from another CNN show Parts Unknown episode Beirut. RIP Tony Bourdain. I'm very saddened by his sudden passing. Dj Puzzle Presets for Synth One

Today the world's first FREE and open source synthesizer app for iPadcame out. It's called Audiokit Synth One. Over 100+ volunteers worked on making this app a reality. I had the pleasure of producing several presets for the app. Here is a demo of my sounds.
